Later this week, the classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer TV special airs on CBS 2 (Wednesday at 7 pm) which will open the gates on this year's round of Christmas TV specials. But to get an early jump on things, enjoy this old Mad TV spoof of Rudolph as filtered through the films of Martin Scorsese.
As it turns out, there are a LOT of Saw parodies. I really didn’t see this coming, but a basic search for “Saw Parody” on YouTube turns up a whole lot of pieces. Some of them I knew about, like Mad TV’s version. But then there are those like Jigsaw’s Crib, today’s short film target, [...]
Artie Lange has been a core cast member of the Howard Stern radio show for eight years. Even if you are not a Stern listener, you may have encountered Lange as a regular on Mad TV, or through one of his other, often controversial television appearances. He is also the author of the best-selling memoir [...]
Tonight’s three contestants are a worthwhile watch for anyone with a sense of blasphemous humor! Our first contestant is a video about substituting nails with glue. Our second contestant is a MAD TV video clip. Our third and final contestant would make a great Christmas present for your Fundamentalist relatives! I hope you have enjoyed each and every entry. [...]
The Wanda Sykes Show got a 2.2 rating and a 5 share! In human terms that means her numbers were 16% higher than Mad TV's last year, and 100% higher than Spike Feresten's numbers at the beginning of this...
Wanda Sykes ' new show premiered Saturday night on FOX-TV, and for much of the show the comedienne took shots at Fox News and conservative talkers. Sykes began her monologue with, "Let me be the first person on FOX not to pick on President Obama." From there, most of the show came from her political perspective, which is not in line with FNC's opinion hosts. In a parody of the film Paranormal...
FOX doesn’t give its new shows a lot of time to find their footing, and it seems that even Wanda Sykes might have feet made of clay. The network’s new Saturday night treat, The Wanda Sykes Show , is receiving some pretty dismal reviews. You might want to tune in before it’s too late. Entertainment Weekly found the opening monologue to be a “scattershot,” boring event,...
This parody from the late night comedy show, MadTv, shows the quest of two contestants trying for the million dollar prize. If only all contestants on these game shows were this colorful!
This is from MAD TV . I got a bit queasy, I have to admit. But it's interesting that you can't show a split-second of a nipple on US TV, but apparently you can show men's testicles quite clearly. It's a weird world.
Stephen Seagal, Lawman . A&E, you've hit an all-time low. I swear it looks like somehing the guy on MAD TV who portrays him worked up. Giving S.S. a gun and turning him loose on the civilian population? Why not just bring back the GINSU commercials with O.J. Simpson? There are easier ways to get this guy donuts...without bloodshed by innocents. Now, which would you rather watch? That? Or this...and...
I would sooner have drumsticks shoved into my peehole until I look like the breadstick centerpiece at a fancy Italian restaurant than sit through anything as godfuckingawful as this waste of celluloid and talent. When a "Mad TV" sketch fails,...
I saw the commercial below on television the other night. I thought I must have stumbled across a re-run of Saturday Night Live or Mad TV. But apparently not. This is in such amazingly bad taste that I don't know quite how to react. It also strikes me as vaguely racist. It's certainly disrespectful of the highest office in the land, as well as of the man who occupies it.
Harry Connick Jr. is being branded a hypocrite by silly people who think his impersonation of a drawly Southern preacher on MadTV in 1996 is anything like that blackface performance by the "Jackson Jive" on Australian television, by which he was rightfully offended on Tuesday. The key difference: Connick was not actually wearing blackface. But we invite you to watch for yourself and decide...
