Our approach will be simple... to keep down the clutter, we won't list items in the ads that are at full retail price (unfortunately, too many). We will also organize and group the items by game platform. Many deals will be available both in-store and on-line this year. Make sure to check out the continuously updated GamerDeals.net Summary of Black Friday Video Game Deals and follow us on Twitter...

Gearbox has declared that Borderlands, the studio's original RPG-FPS ("RPS") hybrid, is the current leader in the annual undercard, the race to fastest-selling new IP of the year. While it might not make it onto a second-printing retail box, the accolade is still significant, as it implies that a new game has at least been noticed among the familiar franchises that dominate the monthly sales...

Forget all of that I'm a Mac, I'm a PC business, not to mention rivalry between Beatles and Stones or Betty and Veronica, I've most often been caught up in a scrap between Nintendo and their rivals. For the record, I'm very much on the side of Nintendo and love my Wii dearly. At least as far as I'm concerned then, the following is incredible news. Netflix on demand is coming to the Wii, as it has for...

I just stumbled across one of the coolest tech toys I have seen in a long time. Sony has developed a hologram machine ... yeah, that's right, a hologram machine. While it is tiny right now, the possibilities seems endless. I can imagine that in the not so distant future we will get rid of our HDTVs and replace them with a much larger version of this hologram box ... something straight out of The Jetsons...

Halo Legends is an upcoming collection of seven anime short films all based on the Halo universe. Just like The Animatrix (which was the first popular film of this sort), each short movie will be created by a different, highly regarded anime studio, which will give it’s own spin on the Halo stories. The movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. on DVD and Blu-ray, and will also make it’s...

Don't look now, but it just might be possible for us to see Wii games ported to the PS3 - if Japanese developers are to have their way, and thanks to Sony 's motion controller . Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi (of Resident Evil 5 fame) divulged this information in an interview with 1Up, leading up to the TGS. Said Takeuchi-san, "Speaking to other developers in Japan , I've heard a few of them say...

SideQuest Studios has announced that a sequel to its PC and PlayStation Network shooter Söldner-X will be coming exclusively to PSN this Winter. Called Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype (which is a hell of a lot easier to say than the original's title, Himmelsstürmer), the game expands upon the shmup formula of the first game. That means seven new levels (Underwater! Ice! Space!!?!?), new...
