Simple true statement of the day: Patch 3.3 will not be released Tuesday November 24th, 2009. Zarhym hopped on the fourms earlier this evening and said that the patch will not be dropping tomorrow, and that they don't consider dropping a patch before a long holiday weekend something they want to do. We agree. Zarhym goes on to say that he doesn't prefer his day-after-thanksgiving turkey with cranberry...

Here's some good news for hunters in the next patch that I don't think we've covered on its own yet. Huntsman's Lodge points out that there are two new types of craftable epic ammo on the PTR for us to load up. Iceblade Arrows and Shatter Rounds are both learned by engineers who rep up with the Ashen Verdict , the new faction to go along with the assault on Icecrown. Both add a whopping 91.5 damage...

Now this is interesting. Our old friend Jesta, who made the EpicAdvice.com site not so long ago, is working on a new project at EpicPlan.com , and while it's still hidden away in pre-alpha, you can see what they're up to in this thread on EA . It's a slideshow/diagramming web app , basically -- you can take maps of the game's instances, lay out icons and symbols on them as you wish, and then animate...

It seems like every Wrath patch brings with it more items than the last by an order of magnitude. It was eight hundred of 'em for 3.1, between the Argent Tournament and Ulduar, and now Ghostcrawler says that 1400 more PvE items will be packed in every box of Patch 3.3 , including our big orange buddy up there. Given the recent interview with Cory Stockton and our man GC, it seems like there's a lot...

Surprising no one, Bornakk confirmed recently that there's a new set of Kirin Tor rings on the way for those with lots of disposable income in Patch 3.3. With an item level of 251, they're a significant...

Wrath is almost all wrapped up, and while we didn't know much about it before the expansion, we've all certainly experienced the token system that Blizzard implemented as they went along, where early instances drop one kind of badge/token, and then the newer instances offer up new tokens, which can then be exchanged back for the older ones and their rewards. Now that we see the big picture at the...

Ancilorn over at the European forums has confirmed that the armored Frost Wrym mounts mined from early builds of the Patch 3.3 PTR will be rewards for achievements in the Icecrown Citadel raid. Much like past raid dungeons have awarded mounts for completing meta-achievements, such as the Ironbound Proto-Drake for Ulduar, the Frost Wyrms will be "up for grabs," for dedicated raiders. MMO-Champion...
