Chuck 's John Casey On How To Be A Deadly Spy One of the more intriguing special features from Warner's upcoming Chuck: The Complete Second Season DVD set has turned up on YouTube : "John Casey Presents: So You Want to Be a Deadly Spy?" In his tough secret agent character, Adam Baldwin humorously outlines what it takes to be a professional assassin a grainy training film. Thanks to Rebecca...

Chuck will be returning to the airwaves on NBC on Sunday January 10th at 8 PM. The third season will start with a two-hour premiere and then the show will be on again the following night in its regular timeslot right after Heroes . This is three hours of Chuck over two days. The pity is that Chuck is actually a good show and Heroes hasn't been as such since the first season. Perhaps Heroes should...

I just downloaded Project Gutenberg’s First Six Books of the Elements of Euclid, by John Casey. I can't resist writing here: A point is that which has position but not dimensions. The whole thing is in TeX! I will learn some Geometry and some TeX, what a treat. You can download it from: The First Six Books of the Elements of Euclid by John Casey and Euclid

Upcoming Spy DVDs: Chuck: The Complete Second Season I've been waiting for this announcement for a long time! Since NBC's spy comedy Chuck isn't coming back for a third go-round until mid-season this year, that, of course, means delayed DVDs of Season 2. I really don't understand the studios' need to release DVD seasons to coincide with new season premieres. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the...

John Elway he wasn't. Nor was he ever going to be mistaken for Dan Marino, Jimmy Johnson's comments made sure of that! But on this occasion, he was every bit one of those comeback artists, driving the Bucs to not one, but TWO 4th Qtr Touchdowns in the last 5 minutes! The Bucs were 2-3 and just came off of beating the NY Giants ..and getting back in the race. They started out slow though..but Dilfer's...

If you are like myself you are reviewing your roster to make sure there are no mistakes. At this point I start casually looking to pickup a defense and kicker and grab any players that were missed during the draft. In 3 out of 5 of my leagues the Washington DEF and John Casey were [...]

Stephen Sondheim said it best — "Art isn't easy." Neither is love, for that matter. The transcendent powers of both are examined in two one-act plays staged by Longacre Lea at Catholic University's Callan Theatre — Tom Stoppard's wordy "Artist Descending a Staircase" from 1972 and local playwright-director Kathleen Akerley's lean and economical world premiere "The...

I am absoultely in love with 'Chuck'. The story goes: Chuck is a normal guy, working at the IT department of the 'Buy More' store. One day he gets an email from his room mate from Stanford. Once opened, it emits all of the government secrets in the form of images which Chuck now has in his brain. Two agents, Sarah Walker from the CIA and Major John Casey from the NSA, are then assigned to protect Chuck...

For two seasons on NBC's spy-fi comedy Chuck , Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) has needed agents John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) to protect him on missions, but things change now that Chuck's Intersect 2.0 gives him fighting skills, complicating his on-again, off-again relationship with Sarah in the coming third season, Strahovski told us. "I've only read the first...
