Via Jonathan Bellman , here is a video on a new design of piano that allows the performer to adjust the tuning of each string with the use of sliders. Jonathan talks about the ability to change temperaments for his beloved Chopin. I can see possibilities in performing works by Gann, Young, and others who experiment with new scales. Or microtonal compositions. Or perhaps adding vibrato to a piano sound....

That would be Adam Cooper, who left a thriving career at the Royal Ballet to play a leather-clad stranger and a ferocious male swan in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake - then went on to co-found the popular/populist Ballet Boyz, appear as grown Billy in Billy Elliott, and be a high-art heartthrob. About that sex symbol nusiness, he says, "It's an act, isn't it?"...

"The Hard Nut" won with 42 percent of the vote. "Nutcracker: The Motion Picture," based on the Pacific Northwest Ballet production, came in second, with 27 percent.
