The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art will open a downtown outpost on Nov. 7 “Kemper at the Crossroads” will be at 1901 Baltimore, in the heart of the Crossroads Art District. The building is the former home of Dolphin gallery, which has moved to the West Bottoms.

Ten artists who have participated in the Lighton International Artists Exchange Program will speak about their experiences abroad in a two-day symposium, from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, 4420 Warwick Blvd. The exchange program is a project of the Kansas City Artists Coalition.
