Don't be alarmed if you hear a boom downtown Friday morning. A contractor for the new Tampa Museum of Art is doing some testing to figure out how strong the soil is at the site. The testing, scheduled to take place between 8 a.m. and noon, is a preliminary step toward installing foundation piling for the new building.
