SAN DIEGO, CA.- The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego opened Weighing and Wanting: Selections from the Collection at MCASD's La Jolla location. The exhibition, curated by Dr. Hugh M. Davies, MCASD's David C. Copley Director, features approximately 130 works from the Museum's collection acquired during the past 25 years. The exhibition will be on view through January 4, 2009.

The location is Los Angeles – Wilshire Boulevard, to be exact. The occasion is the opening of a major new museum, the Broad Contemporary Art Museum (BCAM).
