| Description: | The Hotel Fitz Roy is a high altitude mountain hotel located at the foot of the Val Thorens glacier and ski area, 100 metres from the ski lifts. This four floor hotel features 39 guestrooms decorated in Alpine country style, with pine furnishings, beams and panelling. All have balconies overlooking the slopes or the village and include DVD players, satellite television, direct dial phones, minibars and modern bathrooms with tubs, robes and slippers. Guests can enjoy complimentary access to the indoor pool and gym and relax in the steam room and sauna. A separate splash pool is provided for younger guests. Further relaxation comes in the form of a range of spa treatments using Japanese Kanebo products. The hotel lounge bar is centred round a large, open fireplace and features sofas on which to relax and take in the mountain views after a day on the slopes.
