| Description: | Hotel Savoia is housed in a restored 19th century farm complex located at the entrance to Bologna, four kilometres from Piazza Maggiore. The 42 guestrooms over three floors are quiet, and individually decorated with white walls, modern prints and coordinated furnishings. All offer garden views and depending on their location, some also have original features such as Tuscan tiled floors and wooden ceilings. All are equipped with air conditioning, minibars, safes, cable TV and wireless Internet, with fruit baskets offered on arrival. Guests can dine in the hotel restaurant which offers Mediterranean dishes including many specialities prepared with truffles and porcini mushrooms. During summer, meals can be taken al fresco in the terraced garden. Guests can relax in the conservatory with its wrought iron furniture, unwind in the sauna, or enjoy cool drinks in the shade of the pagoda.
