These are the latest renderings to come out of Alfa’s all-new flagship saloon, the 169. While the 166 failed to live up to expectations, it’s obvious from these images of the 169 that Alfa is back on track. The design is certainly outstanding and may even signal a new styling direction for the company. The grill is definitely recognizable as an Alfa Romeo but the rear end is all-new.

Despite getting negative feedbacks for its performance being unable to match its stylish exterior, the current Alfa Romeo 159 will not be replaced until 2012.
