These are the latest renderings to come out of Alfa’s all-new flagship saloon, the 169. While the 166 failed to live up to expectations, it’s obvious from these images of the 169 that Alfa is back on track. The design is certainly outstanding and may even signal a new styling direction for the company. The grill is definitely recognizable as an Alfa Romeo but the rear end is all-new.

The latest reports are saying that the forthcoming Alfa Romeo 169 will be founded on the platform of the Dodge Charger and will be manufactured in the Brampton facility in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The car is set to see production by 2011 and will have a US price of $62,000.
