Cityfile: Lou Dobbs plays the role of economic nationalist on CNN, but he isn't such a nationalist when it comes to what's parked in his driveway. The man who tells his viewers to "buy American" owns four European cars -- a convertible 1998 Aston Martin DB7 Volante, 2004 BMW convertible, and two BMW X5 SUVs.

I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Sportsocracy fave, Verron Haynes, on his frugal and sage financial dealings of late. Verron recently paid just $7650 for a 2001 Aston Martin DB7. That's about $155k less than the sticker price! Actually, he was to have paid $67,500 for it when he rolled it off the lot [...]

Great episode of Top gear tonight, the return of the Hamster. I was most taken with the motivational speeches. And because Mrs VVB hates Jaguars with an entirely unreasonable passion, she agreed with my assessment that when the Lotto comes in, we'll be getting an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. Oh yes. And they're casting for a team to host an Australian Top Gear franchise. How about three blokes

Filed under: Bentley 2002 Aston Martin DB7 Zagato Zagato is responsible for some of the most exclusive and interesting rebodying jobs ever to grace tarmac. Beauty being in the proverbial eye of the beholder, some have had greater affection for their designs than others, but they're certainly intriguing. Some recent examples have included the custom Ferrari 575 GTZ and Maserati GS , but the Milanese...

Here's the weekly column but instead of Jeremy we get Francie Clarkson. And she says this about the Aston Martin DB7: I know that people think I drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage because I’m a girl and I think it looks pretty. That's actually true, it is pretty. But what I like even more than that is the combination of its manual gearbox, the enormous noise it makes and the way it handles. What

Ian Callum, now head of design at Jaguar and personally responsible for the stunning new XF, was tasked in the early nineties with creating a modern day GT that would save Aston Martin and its dwindling sales. He produced the DB7, first in 3.2 liter straight six supercharged form, and from 2000 in final 5.9 liter V12 configuration, the same base engine that you find in the Vanquish, the Le Mans winning...

Boys and girls, that's yours truly grinning madly from the cockpit of an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante. Yeah, that's right: the car James Bond drives. All 12 cylinders of it. As for Dan Edelen, he drives a 1993 Mazda B2600 4×4 pickup. To put this all in perspective, I’d be able to purchase a [...]

On Edmunds.com, the 1999 Daewoo Leganza received a “Consumer Rating” of 8.4 (out of a possible 10 points). The 2002 Aston Martin DB7 only got an 8.2. So please, please, please be careful when reading user reviews. This was one of the takeaway messages of an article by Michael Kanellos . “Perhaps no other time in human history has there been so much nitpicking,” he writes. “All you have to do is troll...
