There are speculations that the Audi Q5 SUV could be used as the basis for a baby Cayenne. This plan was hatched a few years ago when Porsche was considering a small SUV to slot in below the Cayenne. One of the full-sized concept models was a three-door “off-road coupe” that had strong 911 styling cues.

Watch out for this new entry-level diesel engine that can found in the Audi Q5 SUV and the A4 Allroad Quattro crossover. A new base gasoline unit in the form of the 2.0 TSI is also available for the Q5. The diesel engine is a 2.0-liter TDI with common rail high-pressure injection that produces 143 hp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm.
