Mechanic finds slippery customer on back seat

Macmerry A mechanic clearing out a car that had been impounded by the police found a live snake on the back seat. Gordon Aikman, 52, was removing personal belongings from a black Citroën Xsara at the T & J Wallace garage in East Lothian. He tried to pick up what he thought was a toy snake when it slithered out behind a door panel.
