Filed under: Aftermarket , Time Warp , Videos , Nissan , Ferrari click above image to view video With far more people wanting Ferraris than those who can actually afford one, replicas based on lesser donor cars are nothing new. Some are more convincing than others, and while we'd recommend a nice Corvette over a faux-rarri, once in a while there's an example that catches our attention, for better...

And as if comparing the Duesenberg and the Mercedes 540K wasn't bad enough, how about the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, of about the same vintage (1963/64)? I think it was Reader Countertop who told me that all his favorite cars are more or less derivations of the Ferrari 250 anyway, and I have to tell you, it's a hard argument to refute—if you favor Eyetie pocket-rockets, of course....

Watches are normally boring devices, but the URWERK 201 watch will definitely appeal to sports car enthusiasts. Heck, you might think that the Ferrari 250 GTO was extremely rare (with only 39 built), but the URWERK 201 watch is even harder to find, with only 10 being made. Reading the time looks much harder than the already convoluted offerings from Tokyoflash , as it displays time using "telescopic...

Dig the haunting piano theme, or just sit back and admire the digital rendering of Vandenbrink Design 's coachworks project . It's in honor of the Ferrari 250 GTO . Production starts on the first of five cars next year, with a top spec model producing 750 horsepower. Otherwise, think of the millions of dollars it'll take to put something like it in your driveway, either original or reproduced, and...

Back in 2006, when Michiel van den Brink revealed his designs for a tribute to the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO , Ferraristi were taken by its curvilinear sex appeal. So taken, that some offered their deep pockets in exchange for one in three dimensions. Now, it appears the designer's turned the spec project into a real, coachbuilding exercise. His company, Vandenbrink Design , announced today five of the...
