At one point in my past, I designed and proved-out the production line that built the Ford GT 's giant throttle body. I still have two copies, so I'm something of a fan-boy. Thus, I agree with this guy's sentiment. ( Hat tip to Dustin! )

Superformance has formed a sub-brand, Duntov Motors, LLC, to develop a spot-on licensed replica of one of the most famous Corvette models of all time – the hardcore, race-spec 1963 Corvette Grand Sport. Mr S. and I were driving down the freeway and this black viper passes us. I say - Ooooh . Viper!. Then start whipping out the camera to take photos. Just at that moment, Mr S. catches the Ford GT crawling up on us. He was back drafting the Viper. I don't think they were together as they went in different directions. I don't really like these Ford GT's. But, Mr S. does. And he says they are pretty uncommon....

Back in June 2009 John was originally spotted putting some high grade octane in his black Ferrari 599 GTB at a gas station in Calabasas, then just a couple weeks ago he was spotted getting out of a white Audi R8 , and just recently again at a gas station with his Ferrari 599. In 2008 John Mayer was also spotted at a gas station with his Gulf Blue and Orange Ford GT and also with a Land Rover Defender!

The Ford GT is fundamentally a pure sportscar without a need for any tuning, but Wheelsandmore disagrees. The German specialist discovered that, with just a few practical modifications the Ford GT’s performance can still be improved.
