The 2010 Ford Taurus looks nothing like the egg that set the world on fire in the late '80s, and in my opinion is one of the best-looking cars on the road -- inside and out. In fact, I would bet that few non-auto buffs would guess it is a Ford, albeit the top-of-the- line now.

Will Americans buy wagons? History says no. And by history I mean after 1980. Sure, Subaru sells wagons quite successfully to some outdoorsy types on the coasts. After the latest burst of writing on "The Dagger Unsheath'd", I had to take some time off from the keyboard. My carpal tunnel flared up, and I've had to spend some time doctoring it, and not writing to give my wrist a rest. Otherwise, no returns or rejections during the past week, which is kinda strange. Last weekend I spent a couple of days stripping rust from an old car I bought at an auto...

DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WITH CAREY RUSS 2010 Ford Fusion SEL How’s your memory? Do you remember the time before SUVs? Back then, “car” likely meant sedan, and most likely it was mid-sized. From its introduction in the mid-1980s, the Ford Taurus was the class benchmark. And then from the early 90s, it seemed that Ford, like its domestic [...] Copyright © 2007 World Auto News &...

Sleek, sexy, and slim, the Sony VAIO X Series is the perfect netbook for the stylish, executive jet-setter. While this machine is smaller than most netbooks and measures just 0.55 inch thick, it packs a bit more gusto--and, starting at $1299 (our unit sells for $1499, as of 11/10/09), it carries an over-the-top price tag that screams, "CEO only!"
