Yokohama debuted its new ADVAN ENV-R1 orange oil-infused racing tire at the Porsche GT3 Challenge at Sebring a few months back. Another month (June) has passed and cars.com has once again generated a list of the top ten selling cars. Are the results any different from the month prior? Not by much. But there are some interesting developments, most notably that Ford had the most vehicles (three) on the list, with its F150 taking the top spot again. The redesigned Ford Fusion is back for a second month. A big surprise is the absence...

As we attempt to wean ourselves off petroleum-based car fuels, let's not forget that cars themselves are also filled with the slippery stuff. Yokohama is doing its part to ease the transition from petroleum-based materials with the Super E-spec tire, composed in part of oils extracted from orange peels along with natural rubber. The addition of orange oil reduces the petroleum content of each tire...

There’s no shortage of sales incentives available on new cars these days. And by comparing deals you can find some new vehicles that are as affordable as late-model used versions. In some cases, you can even buy a new car for less than a one-year-old model, when considering purchase price and interest on a five-year loan. For example, when we looked at Honda’s special low-interest financing...

"Isn't it nice, when things just work?" ... was the tag line for a high-profile advertising campaign that Honda aired for the new Honda Accord approximately two years ago. And it's the perfect phrase to express my sentiments of a recent car extraction that I was involved in with St John. Now, a little bit of background. As a University student, I'm part of St John both at home and at University....

Here’s a storyline I have heard before. The Big Three are narrowing the gap on quality. J.D. Power and Associates have just released their annual Initial Quality Study, which measures problem per 100 cars in the first 90 days of ownership. Detroit’s carmakers reduced problems by 10%. Their foreign foes reduced problems by just 8%. When measuring problems per 100 cars sold, no one will...

It was recently reported by the Germans from Auto Motor und Sport that Honda is currently working on a serious competitor for the Mercedes-Benz CLS and the Volkswagen Passat CC . The 8th generation of the Accord, which will make its debut in 2011, will be the perfect opponent for the two German cars, but will this vehicle have the same success as the CLS and CC? This remains a dilemma!
