On our way home from Cleveland last night we had a rather violent encounter with what appeared to be a large doe or possibly a grizzly bear judging from the sound of the impact and resultant damage to our Honda Odyssey. Fortunately, all of the human cargo is fine, but I can't say the same about the Vantastic. What's left of the deer you will see in the wheel rim.

Putting the details on hold for later, it suffices to say that the Japanese version of the Odyssey minivan is an entirely different model than the one available in the US. The Japanese model is a fourth generation Odyssey which will be available in the Japanese market on October 17, 2008. Honda has made a marketing claim that it will sell at least four thousand units each month in the local market.
