Like every other subcompact, Accent has front-wheel drive that places the weight of the engine over the wheels that also propel the car. This enhances slippery-surface traction and concentrates mechanical components in the front of the car, leaving the balance of the body for passengers...

Forget the Germans and the Japanese for we have the Koreans gunning for World domination. Another month, another big sales gain by Hyundai and Kia with the Accent and Rio, respectively. The biggest change from this time last year is the Accent—up more than double from 2008. Kia's Rio has sold nearly 75% more than this time last year. The only car showing a positive gain compared to '08 is the Accent, although the best-selling Vera is only down 6.6% compared to last year. Best selling...

Well, it looks like Nissan is certainly taking the small car market seriously in the U.S. The company just announced that the next generation global small car (Nissan Micra, I assume) which will slot under the Versa, will be sold in the U.S. The photo above is a current Micra. The next world car could resemble a recently released drawing . In addition, Nissan is saying this vehicle will have a three-cylinder...

Neilly was standing just yards away from his home in Albert Street when a blue coloured Hyundai Accent car, stolen earlier that day in South Belfast, ploughed into him at about 1am. There have been a few updates, the most notable being the new "Blue" model. This model will start at $9,970 and has transmission tweaks and a lower ride height. This helps the Blue get mileage ratings of 28 city, 36...
