SANTA MONICA, Calif .--( BUSINESS WIRE )-- Luxury crossovers are not living up to the expectation that they would be the new fad among car buyers, according to a new report published on Edmunds' AutoObserver.com today. Sales of the segment have dropped nearly 25 percent since 2007, despite the fact that four new products were introduced into the segment during this period. "The luxury crossover...

Filed under: Crossover , Luxury According to Cadillac's general sales manage Ed Peper, mid-size luxury crossovers like the SRX, Audi Q5, and Land Rover LR3 "are like 26 percent of the luxury market." Perhaps he should have phrased that "are still 26%," because an Edmunds chart reveals that the crossover luxury segment has taken a beating over the past two years, dropping 25% in...

That was back in the days of old, before Lexus invented the now-popular genre with the debut of the RX 300 back in model year 1998. Competition soon ensued, but Lexus kept ahead with the second generation RX in 2004, and with it the first hybrid luxury crossover...

The RX was one of the first crossovers and arguably the first luxury crossover when it was introduced for 1998. Since then it's become the long-time bestseller for the brand, and it's easy to see why. The 2010 Lexus RX 350 is nearly as practical as a minivan and more fuel-efficient than an old-style SUV, yet serenely refined, with enough ..

There are alot of these cars around in Penang. But as far as I know, only one is a genuine Lexus. The rest are Toyota Harriers. What's the difference? The Toyota Harrier has a different grill from the Lexus and it is available in 2.4 and 3.0litre engines only. Whereas the RX350 from Lexus is only available with a 3.5 V6 engine. We all seem to be in a rush these days. Life’s time demands seem to only increase, with the delicate balance of work, family, and recreation pressuring us to maximize every minute. As a result, there is real temptation to edge beyond the speed limit to shave seconds off each mile. But while driving fast may get you there sooner, there are some real downsides, such as diminished safety for yourself...
