Filed under: Europe You'd expect the European Car of the Year contest to be stacked mainly with European cars, of course, if not cars from around the world that are sold in Europe. But this year, the fight is being waged almost exclusively between European cars that we don't even get on this side of the Atlantic. The candidates for the 2010 awards were announced back in June , but that's basically...

The previous Mercedes-Benz CLK is something of an enigma--built around the C-Class platform, styled like the E-Class, and priced in between the two, the car sits in its own unique segment and has no direct competition from its rivals. Its sales history has been a strong success, especially in the U.S., but the car is on its way out, being ...

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the iconic Mercedes sedan. Sure, the C-Class is less expensive and the S-Class more luxurious, while other sedans and coupes may be sexier, but the E-Class is the car that defines the brand. It’s beautiful, powerful, smooth...

Mercedes E-Class car is one of the finest and the most expensive cars in a Class filled with exceptional and expensive cars. It's roomy and luxurious, but it offers excellent performance and tight handling that disguise its huge size. The 2010 version, improved in many respects, will carry a lower MSRP.

The new 5-series Sedan is expected to arrive early next year as a 2011 model, making its world debut at March's 2010 Geneva Motor Show, but we can already gather a number of details from disguised prototypes seen testing around the streets of Munich. Most of the planned changes for the 2011 BMW 5-Series, however, are skin-deep. With the 2009 Audi A6 facelift now on sale and the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class...

Our spy photographers have supplied us with plenty of shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible over the last few months but, thanks to a leaky European patent office, we now have images of the E-Class drop-top completely in the buff. Earlier spy shots showed an E-Class Convertible prototype with a retractable [...]

By Chris Haak 10.15.2009 Korean automaker Kia spent many of the past several years selling questionably-styled knockoffs of “real” cars. If you want evidence of that, I direct you to such gems as the Kia Amanti (which looks like an imitation of an older-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan). But then a funny thing started happening over the past [...]
