I recently purchased a new 2008 Nissan 350Z. I allowed a friend (from Australia) to drive it to the airport yesterday, and noticed that after stopping at a red light, he would start the car in second (instead of first) gear. He explained to me that this is better for the engine and would prevent first gear from wearing out.

The What Car? editorial team has chosen the Nissan 350Z as ‘Best Sports Car’ in this year’s used car awards. Matt Sanger, used car editor, What Car? commented: “The 350Z is anything but subtle, and is the modern epitome of old-school. Add aggressive styling and a raucous exhaust note, and you’ve got a car that deserves to be given an ASBO. Brilliant.”
2010 Nissan 370Z : The Nissan 350Z has been around for a few years, and while it was a revolutionary automobile upon it’s introduction, it has come time that it be redesigned. However, when approaching a redesign to a car that has been as successful as the 350Z, there are not always obvious improvements [...]
For most of this year, I've been looking forward to going on what I've begun calling the Great American Post-Bar Road Trip. The idea is to drive Icy Z (my 2003 Nissan 350Z) around the nation, starting with Santa Monica, going through to Florida, up to Boston, across to Seattle, and then back down to Southern California. The trip is estimated to take 3-4 weeks, depending on how many stops are made....
This website has long argued that automakers should spend the majority of their resources nurturing existing autos. Introducing new models on a regular basis, constantly reinventing the wheel to follow fads and fashion, is an inherently expensive and dangerous game. Nissan's 350Z proves the point. It's a four-wheeled personification of not fixing what isn't broken. Better yet, it's a proper Nissan...
Nothing compares to a summer’s day on a back country road with the top down on a two-seat roadster. Even if the Nissan 350Z Roadster is getting a little dated – an updated coupe version with slightly more horsepower will be out next year with the convertible updated soon after – it still offers as [...]
Even though we are all eagerly anticipating the arrival of the upcoming Nissan 370Z, we must not forget that the current 350Z in both coupe and roadster forms are lovely cars. We recently tested a drop-top Z and didn't find much in the way of complaints for Nissan's rear-drive sports car. Click through to read our full impressions about our time with the Nissan 350Z Roadster. Chris Paukert Editor-In-Chief...
The 2008 Nissan 350Z starts at an MSRP of $28,150. However, you can expect that price tag to get a little increase when the next-generation 2010 Nissan 370Z makes its debut with a bigger engine and...
SUFFOLK'S Tory environment chief faced criticism today after splashing out on a gas guzzling 'muscle car' despite preaching about cutting emissions. The Evening Star has learnt that Eddy Alcock, responsible for environment at Suffolk County Council, has been driving a 3.5 litre Nissan 350Z Roadster to and from council functions since October. The two-seater convertible boasts a powerful V6
