Nissan determined that it was time to give some of its sedans a mid-cycle lift and so it decided to add more consumer electronics to the 2010 Nissan Altima , Maxima and Sentra. The Bluetooth wireless connections in the Altima and Maxima have been expanded to allow music to be transferred from an iPod.

On October 5, the 2010 Nissan Altima will go on sale in the US , pricing of which will start from $19,900. The model is available in three versions: sedan, coupe, and hybrid. In a release, the company said that the Altima 3.5 SE trim level has been renamed to 3.5 SR.
