For some reason we watch less television, many shows follow the same "story line" in one form or another. Cra$h & Burn is a really cool show, especially that "insurance" (auto insurance) is often the subject of many discussions. As some of you may remember, at the Dodgers Stadium here in Los Angeles last April I test drove a Nissan Cube fitted with what was to eventually be the powertrain of the new 2011 Nissan Leaf. What seemed to be an exercise in futurism, now looking back, was more close to reality that we, [...]

This year, people aren't thinking about buying a car the IIHS considers one of the 27 safest for 2010. They're thinking about pink slips, erectile dysfunction, and suicide. According to the IIHS, these people should buy Toyotas and BMWs. Though BMW and Toyota aren't the only major automaker to not make the list of 27 vehicles, they're the most notable considering Chrysler managed to get four vehicles...

The people at Automobile magazine have given the 2010 Nissan Cube its "Design of the Year" award. Although they admit the Cube isn't a beauty, isn't elegant, and not particularly original, they do say it has charm, and that it all just works. I'd have to agree, too. In my review of the 2009 Nissan Cube SL , I said the Cube had a "funky, techie, avant-garde sort of personality."...
