Nissan’s truck lineup has never been the most dominant, but there may be renewed interest in its smaller Frontier now that gas prices are so high. That’s probably why Nissan is upgrading it, along with the Xterra SUV, for 2009....

Well, it's approaching that time in the Nissan Xterra’s life cycle, and 2009 will bring a fresh look to the youth-oriented ute. Looks like the rumors have proved true. The next Nissan Titan will be built by Dodge in their Saltillo, Mexico plant. No word yet on the specifics, but it's safe to assume it will be merely a Dodge Ram with Nissan styling cues. Think Nissan Frontier/ Suzuki Equador, and you pretty much have the picture.
