My Nissan Patrol came with 4 very good Michelin Synchrone 265 70 16 tyres - one problem, one tyre has sidewall damage (not to the ply, just the outer rubber) is it safe to drive on'? The Nigerian Contingent (NIGCON), serving in United Nations Missions in Liberia (UNMIL), has received the first batch of operational vehicles from the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The vehicles were five heavy duty trucks and three Nissan Patrol jeeps.

Two Nissan Patrols forming part of the 15,000-mile Long Way Down expedition have crossed the finish line – with just one puncture between them during the entire trip. The specially-modified 4x4 vehicles supported Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman during their journey from John o’Groat's to Cape Town in South Africa, which will be screened on television later this year.
