This 2010 Opel Astra looks to be strapped down and ready to ship out. Maybe it's on its way to America, where we'll know it as the 2011 Saturn Astra . Wherever it's going, expect the likes of the new 2009 VW Golf , and other 5-door hatchbacks to take notice. Of course, they'll also have station wagon, 3-door, and convertible versions of the Astra too, though we're not sure all those variations will...

Interesting, I just noticed that what is known (and has been for like a decade or so) as the “Opel Astra” in Europe is sold here in the US under the Saturn brand name, making it the Saturn Astra: Both Saturn and Opel are brands under the hood of General Motors, so there’s no big surprise [...]

If anyone saw Top Gear last week, they'd have seen the boys compete to find the best sub-£900 replacement for the British standard Opel Astra police car. They shouldn't have bothered. There's already something bigger, stronger and faster in the colonies — and we've driven it. Just ignore the price tag and fuel economy. —Ed. Barreling down the highway in the 2008 Dodge Charger Police Edition, I'm on...
