Filed under: Concept Cars , Chrysler , Mercedes Benz The Chrysler Pacifica Advance Design Center, first opened in 1983, is credited with penning the Plymouth Prowler concept ( pictured above ), Dodge Challenger concept , Jeep Compass , and Dodge Intrepid concepts. Rusty Blackwell on the 2009 Subaru Forester I completely agree with Marc , but I'd like to add a few points on why the new Forester disappoints me: -Because of its superhigh beltline and cowl, I almost feel like I'm sitting in (not ON) a five-gallon bucket ... or perhaps in a Plymouth Prowler . -The new model is a lot bigger than the outgoing Forester, and it totally looks it. The funky/cute /tough...

The Chrysler design studio in Carlsbad that produced such iconic vehicles as the Plymouth Prowler and the Dodge Challenger concept car will be closed and empty by the end of the week. Chrysler notified the staff Friday at the Pacifica Design Center that the operation would be merged with the company's advanced design facility in Auburn Hills, Mich.

Proud of his eateries, Armando Florido put vanity plates reading "FORNOS" on his Hummer two years ago. He ordered a second set of plates this year reading "FORNO 1" for a Plymouth Prowler.

Robert L. Nardelli, the new Chrysler chief executive, has tried hard to sound like a “car guy” from the moment he landed in Detroit. He boasted at his first news conference, in August, about his well-stocked garage that included a Jeep, a Plymouth Prowler and a PT Cruiser. But in a presentation Monday at the Magazine [...]
