Adding to our long list of Rolls Royce Phantom wannabes from all over the world (bad taste has no ethnic boundaries...) is this creation that's said to come from Kazakhstan. A fitting (luxury) proposal for Sacha Baron Cohen's fictional character Borat, the Phantom appears to be based on the late 1980s - early 1990s, W124 Mercedes-Benz E-Class....

You can’t ever fault David Beckham and Wayne Rooney for their contributions to English football. These two superstars are also supporting England off the pitch – in the car market. In the past month Beckham has bought a Range Rover and Bentley Continental Supersports. That’s more than £220,000 of Brit-mobiles to go with his £320,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom [...]

Nicolas Cage is suing his former manager Samuel Levin for $20 million for gross negligence of his finances and for lining his own pockets at the actor's expense. Cage is moving to sue the former manager due to the actor's sudden cash crunch, which includes a boat load of debt and over $7 million in back taxes. But Levin has a story of his own to tell, and it involves excess on a scale that we can...

By Christopher DeMorro You know electric cars are serious when even Rolls Royce is considering ditching fossil fuel for electrons. We almost never mention the 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom here on GreenCarReports.com. That's because--at three tons, with 453 horsepower from its 6.7-liter V-12 engine, and an EPA rating of 13 mpg city / 19 mpg highway--it's [ahem] just not that green. Well, Rolls-Royce is looking ahead. Not only into a new century of carbon limits and cities that...

While we don't have the official price, we're reading that the electric Rolls Royce Phantom will run just a bit higher than the current $380,000 gas-powered model. If you're having trouble getting over the price tag long enough to daydream, just think of how much you're saving with the standard HD radio . Or think about a Tesla , which is...

Don’t get too excited now but it could well be possible that Rolls-Royce will have an electric Phantom on the road within a year and just in time for the car to be one of the centerpieces of BMW’s sponsorship of the 2012 London Olympics .

Reports are going around that Rolls Royce could be showing off an electric version of its Phantom super-luxury car on the road before 2010 is over. Word is that the thought of the near-silence of electric propulsion, the fact that full torque is available from a standstill, would be perfectly aligned with Rolls-Royce’s core values. It’s good to see that Rolls-Royce is also working towards...
