Leaked screenshots from the set of Transformers 2 continue to trickle in. With a movie that has the likes of the Camaro SS , Saab Aero-X , Hummer HX and more, it's a bit odd seeing this seemingly plain-jane Saturn Astra hatchback roaming around the set during filming. There's no word whether this vehicle will serve as a Transformer or just an "extra," but right now our best guess tells us it's more...

Can you believe it? There's only a year left until the release of Transformers 2 , and both Ray and I can hardly control our robogasms. Today brings news of the inclusion of the Chevy Beat and the Saab Aero-X concept during production of the movie. According to the Saab History website, the Aero-X concept car could make its debut in Transformers 2 as the alt mode of Wheeljack . Saab is a subsidiary of General Motors whose has supplied most of the automobiles used for the movies. Right now its still the rumor stage, no on set sightings have been seen but its strikes me as a perfect choice for the character. Thanks to Thomas D. for the info.

Via HISSTank comes a new set of photos from the G.I. Joe movie set. There, we see a couple of the modified HUMMER H2s that will be used, as well as the Saab Aero X concept. No word on which character's driving the latter. Storm Shadow, maybe?...

Saab’s latest concept car, the 9-X BioHybrid has been named 'Best Concept' at the Geneva Motor Show. With this award, the 9-X BioHybrid joins the very successful Saab Aero X concept which also received AutoWeek’s 'Best in Show' honours at its debut in Geneva two years ago.

GM's Swedish premium car brand, Saab, has created a real-life sized replica of the Aero-X Coupe Concept made entirely from ice. The icy concept is housed within the unique ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi , Sweden that is located approx 200 km or 124 miles north of the Arctic Circle . The entire hotel is made completely out of ice blocks taken from the Torne River - even the glasses in the bar are made of ice....
