The plug-in hybrid Opel Ampera is likely to be offered with a price tag of 24,500 pounds (about 28,000 euros), according to Opel’s managing director Hans Demant. Seems that GM has big plans of new platforms for a new generation of Astra Voltec, Chevrolet Volt or Vauxhall/Opel Ampera , but no sooner than 2014 we will see any version of Vauxhall/Opel Astra built up with the Volt technology.
