The 2010 Audi A3 2.0 TDI gets a substantial 30 mpg in city driving and 42 mpg in highway driving, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency’s latest figures. These rates are actually similar to that of a Volkswagen Jetta TDI with the DSG gearbox — not at all surprising since the A3 shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the VW.
