Volkswagen South Africa has secured a major worldwide right-hand drive export deal for the new Volkswagen Polo, worth about R27-billion over the next six years.
According to the latest reports from the German magazine Autobild, it appears that the upcoming Audi A1, the car which will take on the Mini Cooper, will not be offered with the famous quattro all-wheel drive system. Why? Well, sincer the Volkswagen Polo is so popular without the AWD system, why should’t the A1 follow the same path?
Renowed French tyre maker Michelin has signed a MoU to invest Rs4000 crore in Tamilnadu to setup a state of the art tyre manufacturing unit here.
