Not only is the Lexus LF-Ch Concept headed for production for the European market, it is likely that the hatchback will be offered in the US as well. Lexus general manager, Mark Templin, made this confirmation during a Detroit Bureau interview given recently. In the US, the Lexus will be competing against the Audi A3, Bmw 1-Series , Volvo C30 and Mini Cooper.

One of the vehicles that made a mark at the Frankfurt Motor Show was the new Volvo C30 DRIVe. It is powered by a 1.6 liter diesel engine with Start/Stop technology. It consumes only 3.8 liters of diesel fuel per 100km and it emits only 99 grams of CO2/km.
