Autumn is my favourite time of year. Although I am a proud Westerner, the Fall in Ontario is pretty amazing. One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is to walk around Parliament Hill and the surrounding area. Canadian Thanksgiving is a sure sign of Autumn. Here's some of the meal I made for it.... Last year when making Butternut Squash Soup , I realized I had bought more squash than needed....

This time we were unable to go into the Marina as there was another cruise ship, the RUBY PRINCESS already in there. Monte Carlo was very busy as it was the Monte Carlo Boat Show. The bay was filled with millions of pounds worth of super yachts and was quite a sight to see. There was a bit...

I am knitting, knitting, and knitting for the t.v....

The Tahoe Rim Trail offers hikers a superb view of Lake Tahoe. Fall may be the best time to take a hike around the lake. Summer's over and hiking trails will be less populated than they've been since Memorial Day. And, we can hike our boots off from now until the first snows of November. The Tahoe basin will soon begin to light up with the wonderful colors of turning leaves. Don't miss the golden...

Filed under: North America , United States , Hotels and Accommodations I don't know what it is about The Arrabelle at Vail Square , but that property knows how to put an interesting deal together. The RockResort property is adept at finding new and unusual ways to make itself even more attractive (which is hard to do when you consider the quality of the property and amenities). The latest gig is offered...
