If we hadn't been already, certainly now we've been put on notice that this fire season could be a bad one. The Big Horn Fire above Mt. Baldy Village was already the second wildfire of the spring in the Angeles National Forest - and it's not even Memorial Day yet.

The Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest plans to perform a prescribed burn today near Ray's Valley in Spanish Fork Canyon, if weather permits. Officials expect the burn to treat 2,000 acres and affect mostly aspen, Gambel oak and spruce trees.
