Like a holiday with the family, the day after is always filled with leftovers; and so it is with today's WMD Blast... Here are a few things left over from yesterday's fundraising frenzy... OH-07: In March of 2007, Sharen's husband contributed to Marc Dann's campaign. Now in her latest filing, Sharen paid Joe Stanford a healthy sum of $18K. Joe Stanford is the guy Marc Dann hired after all his buddies...

The recent Jim Hartung story as broken by the Toledo Free Press once again brings us back to some of the very same questions we dealt with during the formerly dubbed “Pajama Gate” scandal revolving around Marc Dann and the continual question of selectivity as to who’s past matters and who gets a free skate. It [...]

Whoa! John Boccieri and his crack staff of plumbers have a big set of brass ones. Check out this story over at NaugBlog . I didn't know cameras were required for delivering a debate request, but what can you expect from the guy who can't even get a gas station stunt right and thinks Marc Dann was a totally righteous dude . Nice going tough guy... Is this really who you want in Congress'??

If you live in OH-16, what I am about to tell you may be news to you. John Boccieri, the Democratic candidate for Congress, was the only state senator to pass on voting to authorize the Inspector General of the Great State of Ohio to investigate Ohio's Eliot Spitzer, also known as Marc Dann. Boccieri was in Columbus the day before and he is on the record as having voted the day after, so the only...

DICLAIMER: Nancy H. Rogers served as Dean of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law before taking on the task of cleaning up after Marc Dann. Michael and I attend there. Deal. I golf. Often, while on the green, my friends like to exhort me to be a little more aggressive with a cry hauting duffers dreams the world over. I don't get to reciprocate very often, so I'm glad the Dispatch is helping...

COLUMBUS (TDB) -- Ohio was among several states that challenged the beverage industry for marketing alcohol-laced caffeinated energy drinks to young people. Today, St. Louis-based brewing giant Anheuser-Busch made a deal with the attorney generals and said it will no longer produce "Tilt," "Bud Extra," or any other alcoholic energy drinks. Marc Dann was in at the start of the investigation -- he wasn't...

I'm not a fan when Republicans play this game, so turnabout is fair play... Now that Dick Cordray is running for Attorney General to replace disgraced adulterer Marc Dann, will he be stepping down as Treasurer? Who will get that seat when the music stops? I guess when Ohio Democrats said they were for change, they meant they were going to play musical chairs just like the Republicans! Isn't change...

It's sad that fellow Dems used the threat of impeachment against Marc Dann for having an affair and having a learning curve as an administrator AND then criticize Kucinich for standing up to protect the Constitution and demand that Congress investigate the obvious crimes of the Bushies!!!!! People vote for strength. Dems rolling over for the Bushies is not a way to project strength. The media and pollsters...

The Education blog Quick and the Ed 1 notes a headline in today's WaPo "Charter to Close Over Academics" and notes that we don't see that headline applied to traditional public schools. Setting that aside, fact is, we hadn't seen it applied to charter schools in Ohio until Marc Dann started going after them. Last week's Ohio Gadfly 2 published a piece on their experience as a charter school sponsor...

Marc Dann is a lousy driver. He even admits it. And state records back it up: 17 traffic tickets and four accidents to his name since 1998.

An Ohio University coed, on the "victimization" of Marc Dannimal House's female employees . Before Ohio moves on from the Marc Dann scandal, we should all reflect on one lesson it taught us: While Dann is certainly a creep, the woman he had an adulterous affair with is just as certainly not a victim. Of course, that isn’t how the usual cast of feminists and sexual-harassment racketeers see it. Shortly...
