The math doesn't look good for Hillary Clinton now that Barack Obama has enough delegates to secure the nomination. Hillary won another big race on the weekend, but it came just a little late, winning the Democratic Puerto Rico Primary with a 2 -1 margin , after similar victories in West Virginia and Kentucky. Normally, I wouldn't care. First, I'm Conservative. Second, I'm Canadian. But I do care who...

The polls are set to close in the Puerto Rican primary at 3 PM ET. 55 delegates are up for grabs, and based on the polling info available , it’s expected that Hillary Clinton will win PR by double digits - maybe as much as 15 points. As I noted earlier , though, even though her win in PR will add to her popular vote total, it won’t do much of anything for her general election arguments, as PR doesn’t...

by Rick Rockwell Credit where credit is due. Barack Obama has a great plan for Latin America. Now, this may seem like an odd statement coming a day after Sen. Obama (D-IL) got thumped by almost a two-to-one margin in Puerto Rico’s primary by Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).* It is all the stranger, because this blog , in various forms , has often weighed in against Obama’s candidacy . And it may seem stranger...

Kos points out that only 16% of voters turned out in the Puerto Rico primary, then asks a question that has been stated more than once: For some bizarre reason, Puerto Rico has more delegates than 27 U.S. states. For a territory that has zero electoral votes in November to have a greater say than over [...]
