WHILE researching the list of Scousers to have boxed at the Olympic Games for the David Price feature in the ECHO earlier this week, I stumbled across this picture of the Great Britain squad who competed in Moscow in 1980.

One of our readers sent in this video of his son interviewing Joe Maddon for the local CBS affiliate. Interesting that Maddon compares David Price to John Lackey of Francisco Rodriguez. Could be purely because Lackey was a starter in the minors, or it could be an indication that Price will follow that path and make a handful of starts for the Rays?

You neglected to mention something that BJ Lawson would do that David Price hasn't. Price was against the war from the beginning and did not support the Patriot Act (or its subsequent revision). Moreover, I appreciate that you think he's going to vote in line with the Constitution, but what does that mean? Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich both make the same pledge, but they have very different interpretations...
