The Arizona Daily Star reports that First District Congressman Rick Renzi’s criminal trial has been postponed until March of 2009. A US District Judge in Tucson has set trial for March 24, acting on a motion filed jointly by prosecution and defense lawyers. Renzi faces a 35 count indictment that includes conspiracy, wire fraud, extortion, money laundering and insurance fraud. He has pleaded not guilty....

Congressman Rick Renzi announces that Congress has approved technical corrections to a large transportation package that was originally passed in 2005.
