By GottaLaff My friend Jason Leopold interviewed Ralph Nader a few days ago. You can read the rest of Jason's post over at Truthout: Ralph Nader will always be remembered by his critics as the man whose bid for the White House in 2000 gave us eight years of George W. Bush. The disdain many liberals have for Nader still runs deep nearly a decade later. But there's no denying the positive impact his...

By GottaLaff Ralph Nader was on Alan Colmes' radio show, and so was my Twitter pal and cohort, Shoq. Ralph Nader was discussing his new novel, " Only the Super Rich Can Save Us ." It's about a group of billionaires who conspire to save us from the other billionaires. Ralph Nader is trying out the ol' fiction genre to communicate his latest ideas. Shoq called in to Alan's show and asked Nader,...

In yesterday's Wall Street Journal Rob Long reviewed Ralph Nader's 733-page novel Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us ! Nader calls his novel "a practical utopia." In place of philosopher kings, Nader posits Meliorists (the super-rich of the title). Nader's "practical utopia" sounds a lot like Barack Obama's. Indeed, reading Long's review, I wonder if Nader's utopia hasn't been overtaken...

What better way is there to describe this? It's like an acid trip gone bad.Ralph Nader has been many things: lawyer, consumer-rights bulldog, political activist, and perennial third-party Presidential candidate. He's now added a new title to his business card: fiction writer. His latest book, Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us! is a 700-page populist fantasy in which a small group of billionaires

That is, according to Variety magazine, in a brief piece they wrote on Nader’s new book, Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us! which is available Sep 23. It is a political novel that Nader says is his ‘’answer to Ayn Rand.” Yes, 50 years after he published his now infamous article in Nation taking Detroit automakers to task on safety issues, Ralph Nader is still actively pursuing...

Among Senator Ted Kennedy's many accomplishments in the U.S. Senate was a little-heralded but critical boost he gave to the Freedom of Information legislation in 1974. At a time when the opposition to this key bill was in need of a countervailing champion, we visited Senator Kennedy, had a very substantive meeting and secured his networking support among other Senators, which led to its passage.

Nader Was Right: Liberals are Going Nowhere With Obama We owe Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney and the Green Party an apology. They were right. If a few million of us had had the temerity to stand behind our ideals rather than our illusions and the empty slogans peddled by the Obama campaign we would [...]

Mr. Waxman replied: “it [H.R. 676] isn’t going to happen.” In early January and last year, Americans who believe in Presidential accountability for constitutional, statutory...
