November 23, 2009 Dear Friend of Liberty, I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little tired of hearing Republicans act self-righteous about this health care bill. Of course it's a terrible bill that will increase government and taxes and make our health care worse -- but let's take a short trip down memory lane. read more

I think that it has to be a moderate with strong principles. A strange beast to be sure. At least in this day and age. The last time the Republican Party was truly centrist and wildly attractive was when it was a libertarian Party under Ronald Reagan....

Personally, I disagree with both of these op-eds. I would not vote for Mr. Huckabee for president because he is much too fiscally liberal and too socially conservative for my taste. While I agree with Ms. Palin on fiscal issues, she is too socially conservative for my taste. I also don't think she's ready to occupy the White House any time soon. Assuming President Obama is the Democratic nominee in...

November 2, 2009 Dear Friend of Liberty, The Republicans had control of the federal government for years, and they used their power to greatly increase the size, scope, and burden of government. Now the Democrats are in charge and they're doing it too. Their health care plan currently in the works is a serious threat to liberty. read more
