Chuck Todd tweets : Want to stump a GOP strategist: Ask them their preference: health care passes or fails? I don't think one who actually believes in anything other than winning would be stumped.

Latest Newspaper column, as it was originally written before the weak sisters at The Pilot apparently decided I was being too mean to poor Michelle Malkin, Sarah Failin' the Resigning Woman, and Blubberin' Glenn Beck. A “referendum on Barack Obama". A "bellwether" of how the elections of 2010 and 21012 were going to go. That was the prevailing narrative in the so-called "liberal"...

... that Michelle Malkin was, once upon a time , the up-and-coming American libertarian editorialist. Back in the late 90s ... right up until 9/11, as a matter of fact ... I awaited her columns eagerly and routinely popped them into Free-Market.Net's database for linking in Freedom News Daily. Over and over again, I find myself coming back to the question of what brought about her transformation (at...

The most radical administration in the history of the United States is running our country, Yet, they have the audacity to label ordinary citizens as "extremists". Perhaps, they should be looking in the mirror if they want to witness "extremism". I don't think most Americans are fans of Mao, as are several in the Obama Administration . Read from Michelle Malkin at One News Now :...

Back in 2001, conservative media figures were adamant . Democratic Party victories at the ballot boxes during the off-year elections had little national significance. Fox News contributor Dick Morris said at the time, "[I]f you have a Republican president, people are going to vote Democrat, and if you have a Democrat president, they're going to vote Republicans." Proffering further spin...

It was only a matter of time, I suppose, before the wingnuts tried to maliciously and deceitfully connect the Fort Hood shooter to the Obama White House. We just didn't expect it would take less than 24 hours. And of course the perpetrator is the reliably wrong conspiracy-meister Jerome Corsi , writing at WorldNetDaily : NEW YORK – Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged shooter in yesterday's massacre...

Is your congressperson on this list from GOP House Whip Eric Cantor [pictured left]? CALL! As of today, at least 69 Democrats have expressed opposition to the Speaker's health care bill. As the bill comes to the House floor, how many Democrats will stand up and vote against a health care bill that raises taxes, cuts benefits to seniors, and spends money that families and small businesses across America...

I didn't like George Bush and pretty much every little thing he did annoyed me, but I didn't think everything which annoyed me was somehow a big deal. But the right really just goes after every little thing because they know that eventually drudgico will pick some of it up and Chuck Todd will be blathering about it. Back in the day we'd be like uh, hey, uh, isn't torture, you know, bad? Now they have...

Dana Milbank of the Washington Post was at yesterday's bizarre teabagger takeover on the steps of the Capitol building. You can read his epic takedown of this foolishness here. An excerpt: "More ominously, a man standing just beyond the TV cameras apparently suffered a heart attack 20 minutes after event began. Medical personnel from the Capitol physician's office -- an entity that could, quite...

Michelle Malkin has a good round-up of articles about Hasan and the Fort Hood shooting, especially as Islam relates to the event. Short version: it does. And no, not all Moslems are terrorists, or even the majority. But yes, Islam is a religion that tends to foster and promote these sorts of [...]

It has been let’s see, around 20 hours or something since the Ft. Hood massacre, so it was weird that someone who lives on the Internet hadn’t suggested a connection between Obama and alleged gunman Nidal Malik Hasan. So yes, quite sorry for the delay, but conspiracy theorist dilettante Jerome Corsi would like to do [...] Barack Obama - White House - Rahm Emanuel - Jerome Corsi - Huffington...

It's funny, but they still surprise me. WorldNetDaily falsely claimed that alleged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan "advised Obama transition" in the headline of an article by Jerome Corsi highlighting his listing as a "participant" in a report for the Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) at George Washington University's Presidential Transition Task Force. However, Corsi himself...

Dana Milbank's column in today's Washington Post is required reading, even if you have to sign in to do it. As a service to you nice folks, here's the best of it (and oh how irony can be such a cruel mistress): "Many of the demonstrators chanted 'Weasel Queen,' their pet name for the speaker of the House. Others wore masks of Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.); they...

This is my response to a cruel article on Sarah Palin by Peggy Noonan. She had supportive and positive words regarding the possibility of an Obama administration. Since she displayed positive words of support for Obama, how conservative could she really be? Peggy Noonan’s roots are firmly grounded in and around New York City . She was raised in one of the most elitist and liberal cities in the country.
