Description:	NHL players and teams come to life on the PlayStation 2 in ESPN NHL National Hockey Night. Hockey fans can play through an entire season of NHL action, go straight to the playoffs, or enter a one-time, bragging rights exhibition contest. The game is officially licensed by both the National Hockey League and the NHL Players' Association and features all of the professional teams and players from the league's 2000-2001 season, including the expansion clubs from Columbus and Minnesota. Players wear authentic-looking uniforms and over 800 motion-captured animations from hockey superstars like Jaromir Jagr add to the realism. The game also features an option to invent a completely new NHL player from scratch and then guide his career towards greatness.
