Just like nursing, it employs an initial let-down phase (rapid sucking that triggers milk flow), followed automatically by a slower expression phase (deeper, slower sucking for maximum expressing). It's not only more efficient, it's more comfortable. Our mom-testers loved it. The ergonomic, swivel handle requires minimal exertion. Due to health reasons, we are unable to accept returns on any breastpumps, unless pump is defective (as verified by manufacturer), or package is unopened.
