Do a search of the internet for the thousands of people who have suffered screen failure (i.e., permanently black screen) due to a faulty Nvidia video product installed in the laptop. HP will NOT stand behind this laptop unless you buy an extended warranty. By extended, I mean at least 3 or 4 years, because you are virtually gauranteed to have a screen failure shortly after the base 12 month warranty is complete. Happened to me and I had no extended warranty. And there are literally thousands of others who have experienced exactly the same problem. HP is shameless.
