| Description: | Take the role of a gifted exorcist to banish the demons of a medieval world through battles of skill, power, and planning. Developed by Nippon Ichi, creators of Disgaea, La Pucelle: Tactics follows many console tactical RPG conventions, including turnbased combat, gridlined battlefields, a traditional fantasy setting, a variety of complementary playercharacter types, and a sweeping story of Good and Evil that develops between battles. Unlike classics of the tactical substyle, however, La Pucelle plays out in true threedimensional environments instead of the traditional tiered, isometric battlefields found in games such as Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre. Heroes use both weapons and magic spells to defeat their opponents, but other characters may not always be as they appear. Friends and foes should be chosen wisely. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide |
