Description:Presented in the style of a modern action movie, Maximum Chase casts players in the role of policeman Rick Summers, who is investigating a mysterious woman who herself is being pursued by dangerous strangers. Two modes of play offer both highspeed car chases and chaotic shooting sequences, set in the streets of a virtual Los Angeles. Detailed graphics, realtime vehicle damage, and licensed cars from Chevy, Nissan, and Lexus, are all included to add authenticity. Another notable feature of Maximum Chase comes into play when there are breaks in the action. Once a mission is completed (or failed, for that matter), a computergenerated replay of the race is generated, making impressive use of cuts, pans, and camera angles for cinemastyle presentation. ~ T.J.
